KAVX could be a good spot to pair with Palm Springs. It’s less than 100KM away.
For Washington, Sekiu (11S) can be an interesting airport to land. It’s quite close to KCLM (Fairchild Intl), which has been raised as a potential base for AH2. Not too far away from KSEA either.
21W a small stripe of asphalt runway, but lots of surrounding trees. I picked out this one from @BeachAV8R’s list here. I just saw he listed 11S as one of his favorite.
Southeast Washington could be interesting too. I wanted to check out the “Palouse” terrain there between Spokane and Snake River to the south. Wondering if Ortho/Orbx looks anything like the picture.
