+1 for NTTR. Its a good looking map, and you can download missions that have the realistic ranges set up. I grew very fond of it in the 2.0 alpha days. I bought NTTR and the F5 in a bundle a couple years ago.
For maps, the PG is a no brainer.

I’ve got so many modules already, but I caved and got Normandy, the Big Show campaign, and the F-15C for funsies. I have so many WW2 modules but haven’t done much other than cruising around in them.
I got the F-5. Will probably go for the aggressor campaigns for it as well. So far I liked it, very simple plane, no frills, and it flies like a rocket.

The F-5 is actually a fun jet to fly. Once you dial it in, you’ll have a blast.

I’ve just torn my sim pit apart to re build and improve it…I think I’m gonna miss this sale after all but the mig21 keeps a calling…
F5 is tons of fun. really enjoy the roll rate when you disable the stick limiter.

It’s really twitchy…
I liked how I can actually sit inside a plane I’ve never flown and actually make out most of the gauges and systems. Months ago that would be super intimidating, and I could actually take off, fly and land it on my first try. Lacking any sort of finesse, but everything was brought back home undamaged…

Thats my favorite DCS plane. Only shortcoming is it is not good fit for more modern MP scenerios like BlueFlag except of interceptor role where it shines I would say.
That means I am considering M2k in this sale to fulfil this role ( multirole fighter ) for me.

Ditto with the Mig-19. It is great to fly but I get shredded with AI F-5s. Limited RWR, no chaff/flares, really basic IR AAMs…yikes!
Pff you should see me flounder and die vs AI phantoms when flying the 21!

It makes no difference to me, I suck at air 2 air! I always die in a fireball so might as well do it in a kick ass plane
