The Premier Jet has its issues but speed isn’t one of them.

AMRAAM oughta go pretty far launched like that

Cutting it a bit close to the pole there! I bet she’s sweet though.

Never reached Vmo of M.90. hard to explain fuel burn rate / overspeed write up to the leadership.

.9 Mmo? What jet is that?

I think that’s impossible in the citation no matter how hard you would try

Depends on the Citation!

Designed in the old days when jets were SUPPOSED to go fast! I looked up the DC-10 (which I flew only briefly): Mmo of .88. I think speed finally rules again in airliners. The 787 is M.90 and the A350 is M.89.

Yep, the Citation X can make it.

Yeah, gear - extraction speed is higher than Vmo on some jets

@dustman Miss the Premier. It was my first jet! I flew serial RB-67 way back when.

The good ol’ days of 410 all day, every day. (Even westbound wrong way!)

Reminds me of the Brian Shul SR-71 speed check story

Best story ever. I love that guy. Sled driver is a fabulous book. He’s got such a great personality and style.
