A couple of nagging issues in MSFS2020: lost controller profiles & store shows purchase pending

I’ve got the Steam purchased version which until late last year, seemed to be working fine. But since then a couple of nagging issues have popped up. The worst of these is the loss of all of my controller profiles. They’ve just vanished. Your option is Default or nothing. The second is that whenever I attempt to purchase anything in-game, the store shows Purchase Pending and never completes the sale. ← this might be a good thing :joy:

My XBox account is all squared away and I’ve tried all of the fixes to get my controller profiles back. Kind of stalled at this point. TBH, I fly DCS most of the time, but kind of bummed that I need to recreate SEL, rotor, twin recip, twin turbine, and mil jet profiles. Anyone else run into these?

FYI, I removed everything from the Community folder and had Steam verify the game files.

The MS Store? - I have to re setup paypal every time I want to use that otherwise it fails.

No never used Steam for anything. Settings are held on MS Servers I think for the general version.

Thanks for replying MigBuster, my Xbox account and payment method, since that’s what I sign into MSFS 2020 with, even though it was purchased on Steam. Once in the sim, I don’t see anything from Steam, since I disabled the game overlay. I reinstalled the Xbox toolbar thingy, but that didn’t help either. I’ll take a look at the MS Store. EDIT: the Store was good to go, since that account is what Xbox uses.
