Aerosoft CRJ for MSFS

This one looks interesting as probably the first semi-complex paid aircraft, albeit a pencil. I’ll collect some link/info in here:

The fancy trailer

Cold Start Safety Checks intro video, good for seeing what systems they are doing

The manual is available here (with Aerosoft forum login):

This is going to be an expensive month! I’ll most likely pick this one up because it will be a kind of a Challenger 604/Global hybrid (with greatly reduced range). Still, a Bombardier product that I should be able to find my way around quite easily. I guess I will have to buy that payware Teterboro now, and hopefully someone will come up with some biz-jet liveries.

That aircraft sure sounds familiar…

Pretty good overview flight.

Switches are a bit odd, as they use the scroll wheel rather than clicks. The throttle is a bit unusual in that you need to configure the detents in the iPad EFB. No simbrief import, but can just import a PLN file.

Still a bit concerned about visibility in VR, just because the screens in the real life are physically small. Might pick this up at the weekend when I have a time to jump in.

Yeah…I think the JRollon CRJ-200 has those same or similar type small screens and they are…well…physically small with some pretty small font. They are designed for those young kids with good eyesight coming up through the regionals… I assume Boeing 777s all have “large font editions” for the senior captains…
