Afterburner Detent -Warthog

Prob a numpty question, but I can’t figure this one out.

Just installed a ‘push through’ afterburner detent that my brother 3D printed for me.

After recalibrating it works with the Viper. Up to the detent = 100%/mil power, push through = AB.

With the Cat. Up to the detent shows 100% throttle, push through = nothing! :frowning:

Bind a key/button to the afterburner stop. Up to the detent shows 100% throttle. Push through = nothing, until I press the bound AB stop button then AB kicks in (the gauge stays at 100%)

What am I doing wrong?

Is there a setting in the Tomcat’s option menu requiring a detent button press?

Sorry, I don’t remember off the top of my head and I’m away from the PC!

Edit: the point being to disable the option so you can just go from mil power to AB by moving the throttle…:

It’s probably under settings/special/f14 something about afterburner detent…

Special → F-14 → Enable Afterburner Gate

Make sure that is unchecked

Thank you. Problem solved.

I knew I had to be missing something - I was only looking at the keybinds.
