Aginor's weird NFL thread

I’m still mad at whoever let him play after that first severe concussion.

Tua was part of the Answer, and they played him with a concussion,
even when he was cleared to play he was a fraction of himself.

If you’re referring to the last game, I agree. Those three picks on three possessions killed the playoff hopes for another year.

I just don’t think he’s that good of a QB and the Phins should look at the draft again.
Tua squeaks the ball into very tight places and is usually caught due to having probably two,
of the top 5, receivers in the league. Without Hill and Waddle, Tua would be average at best.

Rumor has it Carr might be available next year.

Watching at least the beginning of that Cowboys game tonight as I don’t have to work tomorrow. It is 3AM here though, so I won’t watch the whole thing.

Just watched the highlight video.
A Cowboys win :cowboy_hat_face: but that could probably have been better. That should have been a 34-10 result or so. Ball security has to improve.

And did I see that correctly that the whole NFC East will be in the playoffs if everything continues like it did all season? That’s hilarious!

Meanwhile the entire NFC South should be eliminated.

Hey, the Panthers have the best run offense in the NFC

Watching the TCU @ Michigan Bowl game right now. Exciting!

Yay, finally getting some games televised on ‘free to air’ downunder. Tomorrow starting at 0500:

Saints V Eagles followed by Jets V Seahawks. A pity we aren’t getting the Bucs V Panthers game, but beggars can’t be choosers.

If you have the bandwidth and volume to stream games then there are alternatives.

Bandwidth yes. Volume, not so much. The wife has her favourites that she streams and there is no way I’m asking her to cut back

As much as I like NFL (I am much more of a Rugby man) and have a team (Bucs) that I support, I am not really up on all the players and finer points of the game, so what we do get on on free TV is enough to scratch the itch. I already have tomorrows two games set to record so I can watch them at my leisure

The Bucs vs. Panthers game was fun.

Now on German TV: Vikings @ Packers

The eagles game was a smell-fest.

The Bills Benagals MNF game was going to be huge… until Bills player Demar Hamlin collapsed after making a tackle. :worried: That was difficult to watch… CPR was administered and now he’s fighting for his life.

what you wont see in the news is Ken Block doed in a snowmobile accident

Finally was able to see a few angles (YT was deleting replays all night),

People obvs didnt pay attention in high school health,

As a Hockey Player we are also trained to recognize this type of incident.
There’s been plenty of players in the NHL who took a hit, skated to the bench, and crashed due to their heart stalling.

Hamlin took a blunt force impact to the center of the chest, while his BPM was high, which caused his heart to stop (or stall if you will). It takes a few seconds for the brain to react to blood flow stoppage, as well as the blood flow to fully stop.

As far as the 1 analyst that was vocal about not cancelling the game over a injury and injuries happen all the time, etc.

Bro technically died on the field, postpone the game, no one is in the right mental after seeing that.

CPR was used to keep the flood flowing to his brain until they were able to start his heart again.

The primary concern now is how much if any damage to his brain or circulatory system was inflicted.

That’s what the doctors are speculating as well. They mentioned it happens more than you realize in high school baseball due to pitchers control at that age.

Yep they sell chest guards for it, and they are starting to be mandatory in certain youth leagues down here.
