Favorite commercial so far: couple dancing to music on hold.
Halftime show was worthy.

Definitely a fun game!
that penalty was ref grand standing lol
So, is Philly burning yet?
Congratulations to the Chiefs for winning this great game!
And to all of you here on Mudspike: As always I’d like to thank y’all for the nice football related discussions here in this thread this season.
I don’t have a lot of people to discuss football with, so I really appreciate it.
philly was burning as soon as that flag was thrown
SAVED!!
What a fun game yo watch…
Wow, I did not see that coming. I don’t watch a lot of American football, but I have watched a lot of Superbowl’s and that is one of the best in recent memory (last two minutes excepted).
Wife not happy, but in deference to an iffy penalty giving the game to the Chiefs, tonight’s dinner will be something simple… and we have to use up a heap of eggs, our hens have been laying faster than we can eat them or give them away. Quiche Lorraine with fresh garden salad
Wow wish I was there to help you out.
I would bring the bacon
Kraft Microwavable Mac n Cheese… lol
I’m sure that is what she would prefer.
When I said quiche, I got an eye roll and “sigh, if that’s what you really want”.
I said “well, I could always change my mind…” The point was taken and we are having quiche
QBs around the league need to understand, you can’t leave time on the clock vs patrick mahommes.
You tied the game cool, but any time on the clock, Mahommes is going to use it.
Josh Allen knows for sure.
The bride was a bit miffed the way that the Chiefs ran the clock down at the end. Can’t say I blame her, but that’s part of how the game is played, right? And I’m sure the Eagles would have done the same.
Totally different to rugby. I have seen an 80 minute match last nearly 100 minutes… the Ref didn’t blow the whistle at ‘full time’ because the ball was still in play.
Yeah, clock management is an important part of the game.
I remember seeing things like mass holding and an intentional safety to run down a few seconds.
I almost expected the Chiefs to milk it a little more tbh. But as they did it it was already top notch. They just knew it would come down to eight seconds or so and that that is not enough.
I was a little surprised that they depended so much on a field goal to win, even at a PAT distance. On the two plays before the FG, I would have run the ball for a score, preferring a little more point cushion, and knowing that the FG was in the back pocket. I saw Matt Ryan and the Falcons score a FG for the win after receiving a kickoff with 17 seconds on the clock.
Good Sportsmanship on both sides in post interviews,
and they all Agreed, that field was trash and the worst thing ever.
Yeah that was one of the things that the German commentator team very quickly noticed as well.
The number of players who slipped in one way or another, especially on the lines or those huge logos on the field, was quite high.
They guessed that it might have been the paint on the grass.
