Guys, you haven’t won yet…
Yes. That wasn’t even close. Perhaps it’s Collingsworth’s job to create tension, but that was almost not worthy of a replay IMO.
Congrats Eagles!!!
Garappolo wouldn’t have screwed that up.
Did I read that correctly?
That was the game with the most yards made in NFL history?
Great game. Congrats @BeachAV8R and Eagle fans. The Pats were never out and can be proud of their team too. Of course the pontification has probably already begun in Boston.
I’m still waiting for my head to come out of orbit. I can’t believe it. I was for sure there would be a pass interference on that Hail Mary and we’d be sitting on the one yard line with the conversion for the tie. I saw the writing on the wall. Oh wow…
Brady got another record too!
Most passing yards in any Super Bowl
Also: was there ever a team that finished last in their division and then in the next season won the super bowl?
Also Nick Foles is one Hell of a Backup QB. I wonder where he will end up. I just cannot imagine he will stay backup QB in Philly.
What are they doing there??!! They will all catch the flu if they all kiss the trophy! What a nightmare for someone afraid of germs!
Clearly, you’ve never been to Philadelphia.
They’ve probably all had flu by now
Ok it is late here. Or should I say early. (5 AM)
Good night!
For all the good play in the game - pretty much Pederson won that game with some really clutch 4th down decisions. If they had not gone well, everyone would be calling him an idiot. LOL. And I have to admit, that FG at the end, I was halfway thinking they should have just punted it down to the 5 or 10 because I was really worried about giving Brady the ball near the 40…
The Eagles played to win for 60 minutes and never let up. They were worthy Super Bowl Champions.
And now the game starts after the game. Because. Well, Philly…
I had my jar ready to catch my tears though until they actually pulled out the Lombardi Trophy. I was sure (being an Eagles fan forever) that it was just a cruel trick.
So, at this rate, when are we getting DCS: Philadelphia as a map?
As someone who has lived across the river in Gloucester, I can say that the entire Newark, Trenton, Philly corridor would make for a pretty realistic war zone… I mean, the GAU-8 might be a smidge more than Philly is used to hearing at night…but not by much…
My aunt called me a bit ago and said she could hear fireworks going off over the city. I hope so. LOL… I still remember when Tug McGraw won the World Series in 1980…the roar that came across the river from Veterans Stadium was like a beast…(I was nine years old). It was insane.
