France is the new European Champion in American Football, beating Austria 28-14.
Good game, France is proooobably good enough to beat a (bad) US college football team. I’d like to see that.
Fun fact: The only non-us team that ever beat an American team (albeit a ragtag low level us team) in a tournament was Germany, but Europeans are getting better in American Football, up to a level at which you can finally watch the games without cringing. 
NFL on German TV starts today!
They show the preseason game Bengals @ Bills and talk a bit about the offseason and preseason up to this point.
Always fun to see German TV show the FOX sports commentators for a bit. Hearing Charles Davis is cool because I know his voice from Madden Football.

Yeah it might be a tad optimistic.
But then they have acquired a few pretty good rookies, they seem to have finally rebuilt some of their structure, and their preseason games didn’t look too dire.
Also gotta love the underdogs. 
…although I could probably stick to the Cowboys then, because I predict some major problems this season. A lot of good players are missing there.

I know it means nothing at all, but it was hilarious to see the worst team of the last two seasons (one win in two years) beat the Superbowl champion in that preseason game.

I still think the Eagles should have gotten Bill Burr to write their pre-season promo…(just Google “The Bill Burr Philadelphia Incident”) and usher all children and coworkers out of earshot…LOL…

That’s… bizarre. I listened to the whole thing and I heard the people laughing, booing and cheering at the same time.
It is somewhat hilarious while at the same time being witty AND dumb. And half of it is the F-word. Those people are absolutely crazy!

I got me Madden19 for PS4 and played a few games.
It isn’t a whole new game, but man it is the details that matter. The movements are vastly improved, it looks and feels much more believable to play. Especially in the running game, but the concepts to attack defensive formations by pass now also work in a more coordinated way.
Harder in some ways, easier in others, but IMO definitely better.

I don’t think you even have to cheat.
Just do one or more of the following things:
- play them yourself. I have seen people win the Super Bowl in Madden18 with the Browns, on the hardest difficulty setting.
- lower the difficulty. IIRC I play on the third of five settings so I have a chance. On the lowest one the game is rather easy.
- change the stats. If you are sure that some, or all of the Dolphins players are WAY better in real life than the game stats say, just edit them to have all stats at 99.
- Edit the teams. So Aaron Rodgers, Ezekiel Elliott, Aaron Donald, Tyrone Crawford, Tyrann Matthieu, Sean Lee, Rob Gronkowski, JJ Watt, Antonio Brown, Greg Zuerlein and Larry Fitzgerald all play for the Dolphins? Sure!
