Unexpected IMC on ILS approach to Bodø. Without the synthetic runway that would have been a divert to Jokkmokk. I know I was well below minimums on final when the fog rolled in

It’s a mission I build. The fog was set to the automatic setting in the editor because I wanted to see if that does anything so now I know xD
So yeah, I didn’t know there would be fog and that it would roll in this fast.

Low hour pilot here, but in the SE USA at dusk, I’ve seen haze and low fog that looked very similar. If you look down, you can see the ground all of the way through descent. But horizontally, even inside of 5 miles from the field, it can be really hard to pickup the beacon and runway, especially in a crowded urban environment, like going into PDK.
