In May this year, my wife and I will celebrate 23 years of marital combat bliss. In 1999 we honeymoon on a small private island in Fiji, which I can highly recommend, if anyone needs a suggestion for a romantic getaway. It was outstanding in every way. The last flying leg of our journey, which began in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, was from Nadi to small strip on the north end of Taveuni. We sat in the front row and the flight crew was happy to chat about flying on the way over.
Looking at the photos recently, I can’t quite make out the aircraft type. At first I thought that it was a B1900, but now not so sure. Air Fiji flies Viking Air Twin Otter 400s now, but this is clearly not a DH-6. Thoughts?
