Angela McCloud (ANGEL WINGS), Comic heroine

It’s time for an update.

On March 16, 2022, the 7th ANGEL WINGS album will be released called “MiG Madness”; part 1 of a dyptich. Again there will be a king-size, limited edition (3,500 copies) of “MiG Madness” also.
Pre-ordering of both volumes via Amazon, etc. is already possible.

A recent interview about ANGEL WINGS #7 and #8, and the future plans of artist Romain Hugault: in French language.

Scenarist Yann and artist Romain Hugault prefer to use lesser known warbirds and aircraft in their albums. So, this time, the Tigercat and C-119 Boxcar will take part in this Korean War diptych too; again some previews:

Santa Claus is landing to town…?
I think flying to or landing in town would have been better.
But the picture is nice!

Reminds me of a bad Google translate.
Agree about the picture. :+1:

On a Belgian website I came across a preview of page 7 (with the F9F-5 Panther too, great!):

The drawings are just amazingly well done!
Do you know if they will be translated to english?

Regarding (preview-) page 07a from Angel Wings #7: it looks like a F9F-5 Panther (the “214”) is escorting a special Panther version… reconaissance: Is that a camera port above the 70 number? They are searching for the missing P-2 Neptune (see pages 1 and 2 of the story too)?

Hello there Tumb!
I admire your enthusiasm and had much fun going through this very long, beautiful topic
but just wanted to say, that one pic used here

is not from Romain - it is from Julien, who we are blessed to know as our 2D illustrator on our game project Task Force Admiral.

For those who might want to know the context, it was for a Fana issue with an article regarding the Moonwalkers (these are Armstrong’s Panther & Aldrin’s Sabre, of course)

Just wanna rendre à César etc, désolé pour l’interruption

Cheers, take care & keep the great work.
