Please put me down for two pair. They look so practical it would be a shame not to use them, so a back-up pair would be nice
Well mine* are really torn apart and can’t be fixed. It would be so amazing to have new ones!
*Got flight crew gloves from a former Tornado pilot that actually used them back in 1991 Gulf War.
Ok, you guys convinced me…
I’m ordering another 100pairs.
The last batch essentially went to aviation enthusiasts as they were marketed through a Viggen facebook group.
This batch will be marketed towards simmers and hopefully there will be some 3D files to go with them…
Delivery will be late february or march.
Price will be around $55 plus shipping.
Bro I need it so BAD, I’m about to drop my credit card infos here
I will announce here when we start taking orders That won’t be until early 2024.
You better call me on my cellphone
Fingers crossed, with or without gloves
I just got a 3D printer to print a J35…
I am very impressed with this project. Hope that i can buy at least one when this is finish. Keep up the god work:clap:
Thank you, @Tompa and welcome to Mudspike!
Unfortunately, the project moves so slowly that it could be outrun by a glacier… But at least it doesn’t move backwards, like most glaciers these days
Will be the end of the year release met though?
I don’t think that any release date has been thought about. So … not this year.
…well at least it hasn’t been hit by a bus!
(per Mudspike policy, how long can we continue making jokes about “Trolls Bus Incident”? )
Are you talking about the gloves…? They will be produced in february.
Will there ever be a release of any 3d/stl files of the stick?
Hey there @Nodlss and welcome to Mudspike!
As with everything else around this project, I’m not making guarantees, ofher than I will finish it
The idea is to release printable files and instructions, for those who want to do their own stick. There will also be upgraded metal parts of the trigger and safety mechanism, that people can buy. I will probably also put toghether electronic packages, both ready made and DIY, for those who don’t want to source these parts themselves.
That way the user can print the parts in the material they want and/or buy from me.
I hope this answers your questions.
But, as I said, I make no guarantees. I have a life and it has thrown me some curveballs lately…
I saw this thread a couple of years ago when I first became interested in flying as a 15-year-old, but I had neither the money nor the knowledge to build a more advanced simulator. Now, 5 years later, I will try again, and your joystick would be a worthy investment. You have my support and I look forward to more updates.
P.S. I have now also created an account to get notifications so I don’t miss anything!
Welcome to the 'spike!
i want to get one as a shifter for my car, like just the buttons, no connections to them and stuff. Is it possible? and what would the price be?
