Anyone else using SLAM (SimLink Advanced Mod-manager)?

DO NOT USE

See solution post for details.

I’m just testing now. Having mostly good results. Wondering if it can handle mods in .zip or .rar archival format.

It looks neat. Symbolic links to move around and turn on/off mods and stuff for DCS. MSFS has that nice add-on manager, so with sweaty SSDs and servers requiring different stuff this looks like a good idea.

Unfortunately, every mod that I’ve enabled or disabled in the last 24 hrs. has become corrupted. The files and symbolic links look fine, but DCS shows the mod missing. Also, when I disable the mod in SLAM and copy the folders back to OVGME’s mod folder, it can no longer be enabled.

So, I’m going to not recommend using the utility at this point. Big bummer.
