Yup, it’s the same points concept. However, it all gets simpler if an employer just sponsors you in.
I re-rendered the video (and changed it slightly) using DaVinci, which allowed me to use the full 4K resolution. Much sharper and uh…well…4K-ish I suppose…
Pitcarin is much easier…from their emigrate request forum
SECTION 7: CONVICTIONS AND OFFENCES
7.1 Do you have any criminal convictions in any country? Yes No
If you have answered yes, please answer questions 7.2 to 7.4. Otherwise go to question 7…7.2 What was your conviction for?
(If mutiny aboard a Royal Navy ship, WELCOME! Skip to Section 8.)
Drones in the news down here. Seems like its pretty hard for CASA to act.
Well…yes and no…MANPADs are probably out…maybe tune the radar in a Vulcan AAA for smaller / slower objects? I am sure that if the RAAF had just held on to their F-111’s a bit longer an obvious answer would have been available…don’t you agree @Bogusheadbox?
Actually the way to do it is to place RF detectors in various no-fly zone areas tied into a frequency jammer… Get a drone control frequency hit, the jammer comes on for 5 minutes. If the drone RTBs so much the better. Use multiple RF sectors to triangulate the controller’s source and tie the system into security cameras to see if they can get the culprit.
Something like that will probably be more socially acceptable than my Attack Drone squadrons idea–drones with cattle prods to zap the offenders.
If you
Indeed!
If we can’t find the operator, the f-111 carries enough carpet bombing dispersion to get him eventually. muaahahaha
Actually, thus far the best way to drop problem quadcopters is to hit 'em with a shotgun. There’s a shell out there that’s loaded with a spool of wire that wraps up the blades and brings 'em down.
It is only a matter of time before ALL drones will require some sort of ADS-B OUT that reports their position at all time. Regular planes and helos will have TCAS that will filter out based on altitude and speed, but if the drone goes ABOVE the regulatory altitude, or if the plane/helo is within a certain distance, the modes will switch in both the drone and aircraft to prevent a collision. This is all speculation, but mark my words that will happen after the first drone/aircraft collision that leads to fatalities.
In the 'states, the FAA is already gearing up for that, though it’s more because big players like Amazon and Walmart want a piece of airspace carved out for their drone delivery services. It’s been a huge factor in why I quit flying RC planes.
No need to give up RC planes entirely…
What?! PhoenixRC all the way!
My bad. Let me try this again…
Better?
That’s more like it!
But instead I think I’ll go underground…
“J-3 Cub, wood frame, real canvas covering. 200 bucks. C’mon bro, no cops down here!”
“150. Ain’t no place to fly it here.”
“190. FAA don’t care!”
“Last time a dealer told me that, I ended up in the slammer for 5 years cuz I flew a Fw-190 above 400ft.”
