But yeah, the short nosed F-4s are my fav F-4 types. No gun sucks, but it certainly looks cooler. Plus, works well with the MiG-21 and planned MiG-19.

Well, the F16 is in active service with a lot of countries. Itās bound to have a great sales potential in DCS World. Day 1 purchase for me. Of course, every module pretty much falls into that category for me (except the Christen Eagle).

Or the Yak 52 for that matterā¦ I canāt wait for the '16. Itās nimble and crazy fast and multiple. I want a Phantom for the historical value. But in a DF, give me the Falcon.

More proof that the F-16 ruins everything.
I sincerely doubt it means itās not coming. With the work thatās been completed thus far, I donāt see them just throwing all that away.
I donāt think anyone is insinuating itās been cancelled. Iām more tongue in cheek griping that the time it will take to actually see it has likely doubled, if not tripled.

Honestly Iād take a Falcon over the Hornet any day of the week. The Hornet is operated by probably 10 or less nations? The Falcon by 25 or 30 different countries? Yes the Hornet provides carrier ops, which I understand is huge for a lot of people, but not me. The Falcon in DCS would be the first āmodernā recreation of it in detail, BMS has been building on a legacy code base for a long time now.
Now whether getting the whole Falcon crowd into DCS is a good or bad thing for the community, thatās up in the air. The massive influx of cash however, would certainly be good for ED and itās plans for DCS.
Ha exactly - but you have to think of the common good - at least many will be able to do their 1 v 1 gunzo dogfights with 99.9% never knowing how to actually use it in one.
