Best castle siege game?

Revisited Stronghold HD on GOG yesterday, brought back good memories… love the castle siege battles… just wondering, any modern castle siege type games out??? Any recommended?

Reading good things about that new Total War. three kingdoms… reviews saying it’s the best ever… can’t find anything on castle sieges in it, except for one screenshot showing it… anyone know if it has a quick or single castle siege type mission in it?

I don’t have 3 Kingdoms, but in the other games you can set up a custom battle however you like for sieges and stuff. They have a medieval version as well.

I think Stronghold is the best. I just wandered across it on GOG while looking for similar stuff. Perhaps Total Annihilation Kingdoms if you like fire breathing dragons.
