The worst part is that the whole pc at 30,000 GBP with 2 CPUs, 3 RTX 3090 cards, 160GB of RAM, 26 cores and 52 threads total…
Has 10th gen Intel CPUs, with very poor gaming performance.
Even if all the watercooling and overclocking would make them 20% better at gaming (which I highly doubt), they are still outclassed by a simple 12th gen i5 or Ryzen 7 5800X, never mind the 5800X3D model, at a modest 105 Watts.
So yeah, pointless indeed, for us. On the upside, you’ll never need to pay Amazon or Azure for server use if you have this thing running and know a thing or two about networks.
And dual boot gets a whole new meaning
