Putin usually wants his enemies killed publicly but without direct attribution to him.
So he can take credit in private when threatening someone, proclaim innocence on the world stage “He tripped, I didn’t push him!” and provide that knowing nod-and-a-wink deterrence to those who might look to cross him in the future.
Classic strongman playbook.
So why did Prigo go to Moskva, when it‘s so obvious that he‘d either leave as a submissive slave or a dead man?
I’m guessing he has family? Evil basterd that he was, he probably cared about them?
Mudspikers,
dear forum users…
While politics isn’t off limits here, we ask that you treat the subject with tact and respect towards other members of this forum.
I don’t give a rats ass about the ego and self esteem of politicians, and I doubt they feel very offended about posts over on our little forum.
My only concern is keeping threads from growing into heated arguments that leads to personal attacks on other forum members.
We’re pretty much on the same page about Putin, but when it comes to US politics, there are differences in opinion and ridiculing participants of the US elections will ruffle feathers and create animosity.
When you disrespect a US politician, you risk disrespecting another Mudspike Forum member.
I doubt this is the case when it comes to disrespecting Putin.
Double standards, sure, but I’m just trying to keep the threads here from burning up.
Please keep this in mind and try to focus on what brings us together instead of what pulls us apart.
