Buncha' Jerks over at Horizon Hobby

“Nah, I think for now I’m pretty much throwing in the towel for rc planes. It’s expensive, and it’s hard to find the time and weather to fly, especially now that the baby is here. Plus all these micro planes are taking up a lot of room…”
~Me, to my wife about a month ago.

If you think the micro planes take up a lot of room, you should see how much the giant scale ones take up!

Have been an RC modeler for years and no matter how many times I tell myself I’m going to get out, I eventually end up back in. Best I did was about a 3 year break…

shrug Still more space than flying economy today.

I haven’t flown since 2006 because at 5’ 11" I’m not spending the price of an entire vacation for a ticket just to NOT be crushed. I was uncomfortable in the plane in 2006, and now the space is less?

Last time I flew commercially was around 2001. Seats were small for me then so like you @JediMaster flying commercially holds no interest for me.
