OH MAN! ![]()
I wish I was there! That’s a proper treasure!
If you manage… would you take a picture of the content?
No rush, no commitment- just curiosity.
It’s all in boxes but I need to inventory it anyways. It’s been about 20 years since I pulled it out and when I did, the drives didn’t work though the computer did come on.
The good part is, there’s lotsa spares around and all can be brought back to life… in case anyone’s interested, that is!
there is also a proper c64 stick that they sell still too, but yeah shipping costs are pretty pricey to you from here
https://www.amazon.it/Speedlink-SL-650212-BKRD-Competition-PRO-Extra/dp/B07K9N36GG/
there are others, but yeah shipping from USPS starts at like $50-ish
Please tell me you have the casette deck… far too many hours/days spent aligning the heads with a small screwdriver, trying to get Beachead to load (Shift Runstop).
It can’t be a true C64 experience unless you run the azimuth head alignment tape
And that was when a 7 min + load time was acceptable…
We gets close to that with DCS sometimes!

I think it was China miner that had a 15 min load that’s of course with out the inevitable crash and rewind of the tape … ![]()
YES! Indeed I have it, and I cleaned it up nicely today! ![]()
Looking damn good … Just make sure the rewind button works … ![]()
As you may see from the tape inside it, I tried Rambo 2 and it works. ![]()
All of it does, Tape buttons and even keyboard controls.
Which sadly are crap! ![]()
Did it have loading music? I always remember the US Gold titles always had loading music. ![]()
My man, Rambo 2, and the best loading music was Ocean-Loader, not US Gold. ![]()
I thought Cobra was terrible as well… I loved Rambo, but can’t recall Rambo II.
Paradroid… that was a favourite.
There actually wasn’t a Rambo 1 game.
I think you remember the second as the first.
There was a Rambo 3 but it was pretty bad.
Good ideas, mediocre realization…
