Some gameplay got revealed today from the single player campaign. Looks pretty sweet.
I enjoyed the MW 2019 campaign and this appears to be a continuation of it.
Looking forward to the multiplayer reveal and Warzone 2 reveal.

I don’t think so, I think they just like to re-use names. Having said that, I think a lot of elements are the same. The story might be new, but I think they’re going to have many update multiplayer maps from the original. (Although some were apparently used in MW 2019)
I recently only got into COD, so I could be spreading misinformation.
I think it is more like a reboot because the new MW1 included several iconic protagonists, and background references from the original Modern Warfare. The missions and setup played out differently but linked to the original plot. What I found interesting at the end of the game was the after-credit which SPOILER revealed how Task Force 141 was created, suggesting that MW1 could be a prequel, but differences in the timeline and events suggest reboot.

I loved the original (I think) campaign with the Marine assault and the SAS stuff.
