I just learned the Tornado had reverse thrust for short landings too, though they had to shut it down around 90 knots to prevent the engines from sucking in their own exhaust or FOD.
It looks like the Viggen’s reverse thrust is coming out of the sides. Interesting! Clever way to reduce risk and allow you to pull a 3-point turn.
