Civil Aviation Ministry of Information thread

Figured we have Russia/NATO…civil side needs some representation…

So you are a squirrel, all nestled down in your nest in the morning…then this thing comes along…

Well, it was only a matter of time I guess..
#2

Mmmm…looks like DCS…

#3

More firefighting.

#4

Isn’t John Goodman supposed to be sitting nearby with an umbrella and a drink in hand?

#5

Seen these helicopters up close and in person, landing with the boom would have me puckered lol

#6

:astonished:

#7

The announcer in that list vid sounds awfully familiar.

#8

“Mukilteo” departure. Nobody was seriously hurt …

#9

I wouldn’t have bet a dime on the life of the occupants!
Very happy and relieved to know they are fine.
What an adventure!

#10

TIL Micheal Bay flies and crashes airplanes for fun…!

#11

Not a video…but a picture. I wonder if the non-flying pilot caught it on the walk-around…

#12

Yeah…uh…no…no thank you at all…

#13

And on the other end of the skill level spectrum…(well, it could have been a failure of some sort…)

#14

Well, frankly these wheel modifications are becoming ridiculous. First the spinners, now the extreme camber… what next? Neon lights on the underbelly?

#15

These guys have some skillz…

#16

Pretty cool video…following the 747 at the 4:00 mark is pretty nifty…

#17

I have to admit…the taxiway footage made my palms sweat…

Wow, that Locher Sarentino approach looks nuts! Love the PC-12 and also the PC-6 btw. I’m just wondering if there are any approaches that you actually have to be certified on before you can shoot them solo? That one looks like a good candidate to me.

Changing the subject to another awesomely nimble aircraft … the Extra 300 … good ol’ coordinated, straight and level flyer steveo1kinevo does an EXTREME FLIGHT VLOG with Sean D. Tucker! …

20g wing!!! Love Sean’s energy and enthusiasm at 65 years old!

I got a hug from Patty Wagstaff once. I haven’t bathed since. Err…that was in 1995…that was back when she had the wild hair…

Ssssssssmokin’! In so many ways! (I’m 50 years old btw)
