Flight over Victorville, CA where many airlines have grounded much of their fleets…

That is a really sad sight. :frowning:
Plus it is going to be a logistical nightmare to get them out of there when not everyone wants to retrieve their planes.

Wheels.

That’s a day I cannot WAIT to be part of.

Nah I am positive they are all relatively easy to move, you still need to bring them in for maintenance when you run a parking program as set out by the manufacturer.

It is an exciting time my friends…

Me too!! What a beast… it’s been doing touch and goes at Brize Norton the better part of the morning. It’s so big I thought the VC10’s were back!!

Interesting. I wonder why they are doing touch and go’s at a military base?

We’ve had a lot of odd traffic like that lately. I’ve not heard of vista air Malta before either. I’ve been trying to get a picture of it all morning but it’s really quiet on the approach to my house lol

Touch and go’s are kind of unusual too for a jet like that. Usually you would stop, and taxi back to the threshold so that the checklist items can be properly taken care of, FMS set etc etc. I mean it can be done, but usually you would want to stick to normal procedures when training.

Looks like I was mistaken. Full stops and overshoots.

Ah… there you go. :sunglasses:

To be fair I am so used to the traffic patterns around here that when something cool turns up I lose all my composure and get over excited.
Regardless of its purpose in the area. That is a fricking beautiful jet. So graceful.
The winglets look enormous.
