All right! I’ve been following Jimmy’s World pretty much since he started making YouTube vids about a year and a half ago. The guy is a masterful aircraft and auto mechanic. Today I found out thru the following YouTube vid that he joined the military at the ripe old age of 39 and he drives heavy equipment for the Florida Air National Guard 202nd Red Horse Squadron!
I have to wonder how the conversation could nose dive to the point where they felt they unable to fly together. Obviously they made the right decision to return to the gate when it reached that point though. Conflict in the cockpit is not a good (or safe) situation.
It could be some leftover angst from the merger with VA. Mergers suck and EVERYONE feels that they got screwed by the other group. Pilots are generally good at tiptoeing around subjects that might cause conflict.
I’m just glad I don’t have to have a co-driver in my truck! Some people run trucks with two driver teams so they can run the truck 24 hours a day. That just seems like a nightmare to me.
He’s not a co-driver! He’s an emotional support provider!
I’ve always felt bad for passengers on these North American trucks since most passenger seats don’t have Air Ride. (little airbags that help you to not destroy your back)
Haha you are correct. Although he is a little more compliant than most
Funnily enough, this DAF super space I drive at night is the very very first truck ive ever had that does have air seats both sides. I have no idea why though. Its only ever me in there normally.
