Pacific Air War as well. I remember it was the first combat flight sim I really enjoyed and played a lot. Even via the back then BNC Ethernet via LAN

1942: PAW had MP even! AOTP didn’t, but I really liked the 1946 pack that gave us the F7F, F8F, Shinden (which I got a real kick out of in Godzilla Minus Zero), Kikka, and others I rarely got to use.

The back side of prop disks don’t shimmer. They are painted mat black for this purpose. Small detail for sure. But also easy to fix.
And agreed. Looks very promising. Not a moment too soon as IL2 seems to be wearing thin even with some of its historically most dedicated fans.
