So, for a long while I had a great setup with a small, secondary monitor underneath my center (main) monitor with my Cougar MFDs on top for DCS.
Unfortunately, that second monitor died a couple of months ago, and I just installed a replacement.
And now I can’t get the MFCDs to export to the secondary monitor.
This is what I’m seeing:
No matter what I do to the monitor setup lua files, this is what I’m getting on the two monitors I’m using. It’s almost as if the secondary monitor is trying to run in VR.
Any thoughts? I seem to have stumped the folks over on the DCS forums as well.

This looks like a job for me
Okay let’s take this a step at a time.
First of all, check where the new monitor isin the windows display settings(1).
The I’d like to use the DCS launcher to set back the game to a single display configuration.
This is not to say you did anythig wrong- but I need to have the lowdowns understood to properly troubleshoot this.

Dude, I love you man.
So, as of last night the center monitor is 2, the small one underneath is 1. I just swapped HDMI inputs last night when I tried a new cable.
I’ll get a screenshot of the display settings screen when I get home from my daughter’s dance class.

(also, as soon as I saw that gif I started rapping ALL the words to that song. Can’t believe I still remember every line 25 years later)

We got it!
Apparently in my options config lua file, the multimonitor file name didn’t match the config I’d created. Not sure how that happened, but it’s working now!

So I have a question for you…
If I want MFDs exported on my side monitors, how do I set that up?
As you see here
I have DCS in the main central screen and I’d like the MFDs on the bottom corner of the side monitor closest to the central one.
Oooh, I got you! Hang on:
