Proust said "“Remembrance of things past is not necessarily the remembrance of things as they were.” and he was, for the most part, right. Dangerous Waters is not quite as easy on the eyes as I remember, but there is nowhere else to go if you want to scratch that cold war-era Anti-Submarine Warfare itch.

Our friends over at Subsim have been nursing this venerable simulator, adding to it and, to my surprise, there is actually quite a multi-player scene for it.

So my question to you is: Who wants to give this a go?

I have it installed on my laptop. It’s been ages since I’ve done any modern sub Sims though.

Used to play this a lot. Loved it to death. Only stopped playing when I switched to widescreen monitors. Wish they would or could update the graphics.

I wouldn’t mind giving it a go again. Something to keep me busy until Cold Waters comes out. I’m usually on TS after 9:00pm Eastern time, stop by and we can see what we can get going.
