yep… in the update they mention that the new tech they thinking of putting in, has been impacted by a change in russian law over military equipment
Hind…apache…mossie…
I’m going to be set for Christmas presents this year lol
That long of a wait requires patience I don’t have.
As if I am going to be able to wait that long either lol. Besides the Hind is getting hard enough to wait for and its not even out yet
Regarding the Mosquito, I saw @NineLine reply on the Facebook post to a question about multi-crew that the second seat will be only a navigator.
That will make for some good cooperative play with night missions, or even daytime for that matter.
My computer will burst into flames trying to run those features…but can’t wait!
I honestly think that being a navigator could be a valid position. It could fun with a flight of 2 mossies and a specific TOT
Intruder: WWII Edition
Looking forward to the core improvements, though you have to take the timelines with a huge grain of salt. Some of those items have been on yearly roadmaps for years.
Frankly I have very little interest in the current and upcoming ED modules, with the exception of the Hind, which unfortunately keeps slipping back. But there are some very exciting 3rd party modules which might make it in 2021, including the A-7, F-8 and Mirage F1.
I was thinking we would of seen a EA release of The Hind late last year,Could be DCS decided to keep it in development to improve/add to Shared Cockpit multi-player functions .
I know CEO Kate hinted at a “Jester” type AI system for The Apache…maybe this feature will make it’s way to The Mi-24 as well? just guessing/dreaming here
I would not be surprised at all if that happens to be the case. I however will have @Victork2 as a front-seat dummy to Fork Shirts Up like the crazed gonk he is…
I’ll bring my crayons
Can I Slap a Tracking # on my forehead and apply as “Cargo”?
Grab a PK and be a door gunner
the recent interview about the hind… translated … thanks to the guys over at Stormbirds
That was really interesting stuff. I cannot wait to play with it. Very cool
“The campaign is built around a Real-Time Strategy (RTS) foundation that factors resources, zones of control, logistics, available forces, and a strategic decision-making system.”
Sounds a bit like EECH. I wouldn’t mind me some EECH in my DCS. I had a whale of a time with that campaign.
Sincere. I don’t expect nor need a Falcon 4.0 scale campaign. That’s just not feasible for DCS. But EECH-like with a simple logistics network powering “generator” buildings and a back and forth tug of war on the frontline, that’d work joos’ fahn sirrah!
