LOL I just noticed that yesterday-my wingman’s LGBs were way off…instead of calling “Shack!” It was more, “Oh the humanity!”

(Ask a Baby Boomer if you didn’t get that.)

Anyway…does pilot level affect that accuracy? I would think even an Average pilot could hit the proverbial broad side of a barn with a Targeting pod and a GBU-10. Likewise dropping a gps guided bomb is more about getting the jet in the LAR; the accuracy part has already been done by the targeteers back in the JIC/JIOC/JAC/CVIC.

Well they could forget to arm the laser, forget to use auto-lase, fail to hold down the laser fire button, lase too late… If it can happen, it will! (Or perhaps should? - in the case of AI)

You have described almost every one of my bombing runs to date sir…

Hornet? The new auto-lase feature threw me for a loop too, until @AndyE told me about it.

Yes Hornet and not due to some fancy new features…just my inability

Need to use the F-14 LANTIRN with a human RIO, watch all those worries go away.

With saltier language!

Ooh, that would be cool.

“Oh the humanity”?
That was before the time of Baby Boomer’s too!

Question. Is the new Syrian map’s initial release going to be for the beta or the stable version?

I don’t know if its been said, but I would assume its released to beta first.

Can’t recall where exactly, but that’s what I read too. Hasn’t that been the default method? Never paid attention much though

Going back to…

Then there are sometimes when the AI is too good! I was just setting up a little RPG ambush on some armor (so we could call in CAS with troops in contact) and I was wondering why my RPG shooters were getting no kills. It just so happened that they were shooting across a line of telephone poles / electrical wire. Wouldn’t you know it…every…and I mean every… RPG shot was hitting a telephone pole or electrical wire. That is some fantastic accuracy!

Still no Gunpods for the 109? Well, there is next year… More like hoping for some work on the Jug, but OK. I need to try out the Falcon now…

Dear Fighter Pilot, Partners and Friends,

We would like to take this opportunity to discuss DCS: F-16C Viper features in order
to provide an achievable and transparent plan for 2020 and beyond. With this in mind,
we invite you to contribute to the DCS: F-16 Viper Future Features Survey.

We are delighted to share the current development progress on DCS: F-16C Viper and
your feedback is greatly appreciated.

This week we released an update to DCS World Open Beta (OB). We would like to kindly
remind you that the releases of DCS World OB and Stable versions have been slowed down
in order to continue working on substantial bug-fixing and account for longer testing periods.

Please read the most recent OB changelog.

Thank you for your passion.

Yours sincerely,

The Eagle Dynamics Team

F-16C Viper
Future Features

As with DCS: F/A-18C Hornet, we are creating a development roadmap for DCS: F-16C Viper.
This is an important step in prioritising your wishes and we encourage you to take part in the
DCS: F-16C Viper Features Ranking Survey.

We are currently working on the SMS, WPN and DED pages, as well as the HARM as a Sensor (HAS) mode.

Liveries
In cooperation with several talented community members, highly accurate liveries for the Israeli,
Turkish and United States air forces are being finalised. We hope this will be appreciated for all of
you who are interested in developing and flying missions in DCS: Syria

Flight Dynamics
Several subject matter experts are involved in further improvements to the flight model and flight
control system. This will provide substantial accuracy enhancements and we look forward to your feedback.

Additionally, a white paper has been prepared that describes some of the basics of our Flight Module (FM)
programming, in particular with regards to the way we use the sources available to achieve a high level of
accuracy in our simulation.

F/A-18C Hornet
The Serpent’s Head 2

A 10 mission campaign for the F/A-18C Hornet by our third-party developers Badger 633 is now available
to download on Steam. It comprises the next chapter of six previous The Serpent’s Head missions released
earlier that are freely available in DCS user files.

F-86F Sabre
Hunters Over the Yalu

The Hunters over the Yalu Campaign for the F-86F Sabre by Reflected Simulations is also now available to
download on Steam.

Command the 67th Fighter Bomber Squadron and attack enemy-held bridges, bomb factories, and strafe
supply columns. Support US troops as they fight fiercely on the ground. Survive heavy flak and fighter attacks,
and then transfer to the legendary 39th Fighter Interceptor Squadron to carry out large fighter-sweeps in MiG
Alley over the Yalu river.

Thank you again for your passion and support,

Kind regards,

Yes it will. :slightly_smiling_face: Appreciated very much.

However, we already have the PG map that includes two countries that also use the F-16; Oman and UAE.

The UAE livery may take some work but the Oman paint looks pretty simple. I am sure that an example of each would also be greatly appreciated. :salute:

Unfortunately, we only have the blk 52, no 60+ models. As it is ED tends to be a stickler for not having skins from different variants on a plane, but maybe we’ll get some good ones. Historical, too, not just current day.
