Well I got both systems updated.
The dedicated server only requires half the data (25GB) for the map.
So my router is going to show a near 100GB total download today, I’ll have to check that later.

issue here is that everyone would lose their minds if a patch went live and the notes didnt show up till a few hours later
“WHERES THE CHANGE LOGS” “WHERES THE NOTES”, etc etc.
updates.digitalcombatsimulator.com will show the version live on the CDN Update server.

Working fine, looking good 
Did only a quick test with a game pad in good ole 2D, because I had no time to setup HOTAS and Oculus.
Disappointing though:
Only the F14 seems to have instant Action missions for the new map.
F16 nothing
F18 nothing
All other planes I own - nothing.
I mean how long does it take to throw a plane in the air somewhere, Free Flight Mission done.
As I did not want to take the tomcat for some reason (now that I am writing this, I actually ask myself, ok why 
), I created my own…
So… Pretty much the same as yesterday…

Is really easy. Done one myself. Perhaps in next update every machine will have insta’s.
I know but with all the humidity this summer I have neglected my flight sims and associated software (the rift turns into a sauna)
Instead it has been Rising storm Veetnam for my online pursuits with realistic conditions 
Oh and Syria is beautiful with good optimisation for my set up better than the Channel map on release

Huh. It made my rig (9600K, 32gb, 1070) cry for mercy and ball up in a fetal position of catatonic misery. I can has 3090ti plx?

Yep the 1070 is now your bottleneck i am on the 1080 and i think this year i would lile to upgrade to a 3090 and a G2 
DirectX is the bottleneck.
