DCS 2.7 Discussion

Subject to change, remember that

Testing is going well, just need to be cautious in case anything happens last minute in testing.

So, ‘change’ could mean we get it earlier…!

The cynic in me says “they claimed by the end of March, and this year March 31st is a Wed, so I bet they will not release it until the 31st”.

Now of course last minute issues can crop up and it will get punted, that is not unusual, I just had the feeling the odds of it being any day BEFORE the 31st were nil.

And as befits a Jedi Master, you turned out to be in tune with the force, and felt just right

Kind of a given with such a big update. They didn’t wait till release date to announce the delay, that is good. Now where did i leave that pitchfork?

What’s that day called… You know the one immediately after the last day of March…?

Maybe they just wanted to release two-point-seven on the seventh?

They could pull off a much better tease than that, like a super EA overview of the Apache video by Wags!

Totally Agree…Wasn’t it about a yr ago this time on Eve of SuperCarrier Release they announced it would be delayed a month?? …For Me that one hurt as that was one of my most anticipated modules…and to date probably the one I use the most.

To me that delay isn’t unexpected tbh. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were to push it back again. They should give it into the hands of the testers for at least one or two weeks before release imho.

Imagine:

“I equipped ATFLIR on the cheek, LITENING on the centerline, powered them on but when I went to use the DDI page I got CTD.”

”Why?”

”Because I could!”

Customers - making irrelevant decisions into bugs, whether you like it or not!

If they knew how to write a good bug report, and include all the data, steps to reproduce and explanations necessary, I might agree
