Wow, about time. That’s going to make a lot of mission designers happy. No more cold bore shots to the kisser 
At least now you might have a few seconds to jink. The demo with the B-17s in the flak alley looks pretty real IMHO. I guess mission designers could set the max altitude of various caliber AAA according to their era. I was reading last night how the Argie radar guided 37mm near Stanley had no trouble reaching 20k feet, where the RAF and RN previously thought was safe.

Remember last winter they updated the dogfight AI a little as well. So it is still being worked on, albeit not nearly as much and as fast as we all would like. It might even be the case that they are about to overhaul the entire NPC system in such a way that work on the current system would be a waste, hence the sense of abandonment. The same thing happened to the old weather.

Your assessment is most likely accurate. However, on the RAZBAM discord server a few days ago, it was hinted that they are wrapping up the LUAs for the terrain. No mention of the asset pack, which I’m assuming will be released at a later date. Of course that’s only an assumption, and you know what they say about those

I believe the MiG-19 had no preorder–or was it that it just didn’t have early access and came out in “release” state, even though it still needed lots of patching?
