Did a couple of landings with aerobraking.
If the speed drops so that the stick buzzer activates you risk landing hard. Got some yawing from that.
Also, ground handling in general gets squirelly without a good dose of S curve on the rudder.
And of course, the SA06 (Styrautomat or autopilot) needs to be in SPAK which is a stabilizing damper mode.
A friend who used to drive the JA 37 (and training on the SK 37, which is basically a two seat AJ 37) says that the rudderpedals were more or less only used for nosewheel steering. The aircraft flew coordinated with just the stick, and SA06 in SPAK.

Mostly Trolls…
Have to agree … lots of potential for this map… Russian tanks swarming across the Finland border, full on naval ops and viggens @Troll screaming in at treetop at Russian bases
All fantastic stuff

Polar bears, actually.
And yes, Uppsala is quite a bit south of here…
Just thought you guys ought to know first, if you land the hercules on the Kuznetzov, you need the ship to be moving at least 18kts to get airborne again.
You also need 4700ft to safely recover from a full loop…
Been a valuable and informative morning involving a LOT of smashed c130s.
