Just flew two of the F/A-18C Kola instant action flights that recently got added to the sim, one air to air and one ground strike. Both were excellent. Great fun! Who made those?

Need to watch that. I finished Mack’s book a couple of weeks ago. Being a Night Stalker definitely took a toll on his marriage. In fact, that was somewhat harder to read than the combat. Glad that it worked out for him in the end. I bet that the West Point gig was pretty awesome.

Fun fact: In the winter, they used MiG-21 jet engines to get the frozen lignite out of the railway wagons
I’ve seen pictures from an especially cold winter in 78/79 were they reallly got creative

I don’t think our passengers would like that …no matter how cold it is …but would like to see it tried
They did come up with some novel ways to use old jet engines …from fire fighting to de-icing

Didn’t someone also use MiG 21 engines to put out the fires in Iraqi Oil fields after the Gulf War of 91?

Looks like Farm Simulator is going to have some competition!
Sure, you can harvest the wheat in your combine or pull your tractor to the barn…but can you do it while Apaches launch Hellfires over your head at distant T-72s? Can you see a MiG-29 pilot eject and land in the field you’re driving through?

If this were made in 2007, there would be QTE’s to hope between from Hellfire to Hellfire as you approach your tractor to get in before getting more QTEs to dodge incoming T-72 volleys.
