“Houston We Have A Problem”
Current version number: 2.9.3.51704
Next planned update: 10th April 2024 ( subject to change )
Dear all,
During recent checks QA found regression in spotting dots system and DCS:F-16C INS issues. We are working on fixes now and will need time to test everything again after fixes deployed.
Apologies for the delay and thank you for your patience
While it’s only mods, there are quite a few 1950ies planes and assets around. When VSN releases their 1951 straight deck Essex carrier, it will be about time to revisit some of these. In my DCS forum mail I have a few assets lingering: VSN Panther, a Cougar, a late Corsair. It just takes an ungodly amount of time to assemble them in packs and test them somewhat.
Do dedicated servers need liveries? I thought that was a client-side thing.
ED should make a ded server install that strips out the textures anyway…why have them there? Think how much smaller those terrains would be without them.
You know, most groups I flew with weren’t interested but instead of flying over the rainforest (Sometimes it can look like an eternal green carpet except the occasional, albeit beautiful, meandering river)… There are some very interesting modern day scenarios we could play on the SA map. A US backed Chile and Brazil alliance against a China backed Argentina (with JF17s - it almost happened), based on diplomatic instability regarding the construction of a Chinese Deep space base in Patagonia (It actually happened)…
I believe that might be the first marketing video I’ve seen in portrait. I usually associate that with videos taken by people capturing barfights and tic tok content.
