Definitely exciting, makes the Normandy map much more interesting but it leaves the Channel map in a bit of a weird place unless ED decides to expand it to include Belgium and the Netherlands, plus maybe western Germany in the future. Yeah it’s incredibly detailed and I love flying on it but from a gameplay and historical perspective, Normandy is much, much more interesting, even in its current state.

Not to burst anyone’s bubble, but the lat long in the video (34°56′46″N 069°15′54″E) is the position straight off Wikipedia for Bagram. 
Any further interpretation seems like a stretch. What aircraft is where depends on the imagery provider, as well. (Edited for clarity.)

Heat blur is working on a 6e. So maybe they are further along then anybody thought. 15e and 6e are day one purchase for me. F4 would be too, not so sure about a 105 though.

Congratulations to us Mudspikers we got it pretty close. I was not expecting that much F-15E, I have to say. Afghanistan was also a pretty big reveal, although like the predicted f-4, those very concealed teasers probably mean we’re still a way to go for both.
still 2022 will be an exciting year for DCS. I can’t wait.

After discovering Aerges is planning on delivering us 5 different Mirage F1’s, it now feels kind of cheap to get only one F4 from ED…

Yeah, the Phantom was flown by everyone : Seems a -B/C/E/G would fit the bill 
A guy can dream.
But without a “mountainous jungle by the sea” map, the only map it would go with, off the top of my head, is the PG, flying in the Iranian AF? Or I guess IDF for Yom Kippur on the Syria map?
And of course an Iraq map for the -G at least, not to mention a LOT of other modules out there. I wonder if Iraq is a political 'thing" with them? Or even SEA? Just a thought I’ve had over the years.

Well if they gave us an F-4B (USN) then it could stand in for the F-4C (USAF) and Phantom FG.1 (UK) as well with the appropriate skins…
But the E does fit better with the terrains we have…
