I know we joked about the expensive kill, but that maverick would of been a lot cheaper than an airframe FULL of ordinance, fuel and a pilot being lost.
It’s actually a bargain in reality 
Yea the pilot training costs alone are what, an order of magnitude more expensive than one missile? Go for it!
Back when I was proficient with the BS, I used to snipe them with single shots from the Shipunov.

If I may say so, thank you for resurrecting this thread. I watched all of the videos in it, and learned quite a bit actually. Good refresher on the basics. Especially the Russian HUD symbology.
