Beacons usage
The beacons are linked to the alarm state (Green = OFF, Red = ON)
2 example missions are included, check the trigger rules window for more info: Follow Me Truck - Radio : turn the beacons on and off with the radio (F10 menu) Follow Me Truck - Space Bar : turn the beacons on and off with the space bar (not suitable for MP)
Limitations
Regardless of the alarm state the beacon “beam” will not show up during the day on a non moving AI unit.
As soon as the AI starts to move the beams will show up but they will freeze in place once the vehicle comes to a stop.
This limitation only applies to the AI and not to human controlled vehicle

Technically, yes you can but it’s pretty boring. The car max speed is hardcoded (around 120-140ish km/h)
Also, the physic engine isnt really tailored to racing cars, just driving around the LV speedway at 120 isnt a particulary thrilling experience. And the level of details of that area is really low.
On the other, driving around a track like the one I posted above is surprisingly fun and challenging.
If anyone wants to test and maybe build a few city/airports racetracks, just let me know.
