Agreed, and you put it better than I ever could.
Ended up paying 25USD since i had some credit w ED. WHAT A LAUNCH!!! Did this really happen
So I did the $60 at ED’s site preorder. Yeah, I’m looking forward to the MiG-23 too because I love those 3rd gen jets.
As does mine.
That artist knew how to keep a fighter pilot’s attention, LOL.
Does anyone know if napalm will be available?
I’m going to be in so much trouble flying this monster!
That was one of my first thoughts😀
That video was hilarious!!
I could’ve used it when I taught Principles of Flight!
If Heatblur manages to capture those idiosynchrasies in the flightmodel, flightsimmers will cry!
I like Dave, I want to be like Dave and draw girls with helmets.
I actually envisioned you in the role of Dave the illustrator!
How do I redeem my miles with the F-4 pre-purchase?
I was flirting with the purchase but for the life of me didn’t see any option to redeem my miles with the F-4
That’s good stuff. Although, having ridden saddle bronc, I think I’d rather break my body flying the F-4!
I didnt see an option to do that. I had overpaid on a ED purchase and so my money was held there.
That website (www.periscopefilm.com) is an absolute gold mine and is getting me really psyched. The F-4 might not be the hangar queen I imagined (especially if Jester 2.0 is any good?)
I have spent more than a couple of hours now looking at Phantom training videos, click on stock footage and search.
This is a another good 'un:
Manual bombing is so satisfying. Right there with sticking the basket and getting a 3-wire.
Periscope films is an absolute gem of a site, the weird and wonderful old films you find there are great
Since this is a 3rd party module I’m not sure ED miles will apply. I think they can opt in or out.
Random thought while I was watching a walkaround/cockpit tour of a retired Japanese Phantom:
In the USAF trigger is for guns, pickle is for missiles/bombs. In the USN trigger is for guns and A2A missiles, pickle is for A2G ordnance.
When the same airframe is serving both USAF and USN concurrently, how is the stick wired? Did the USN and USAF follow the same philosophy at that time, or were the sticks wired differently between the branches?
