DCS Future A/C Question

I remember one of the clues that LNS gave out, said “it is an aircraft that you would think USMC would have used, but they never did.” Combine this with other clues, like “fully modeled Air to Ground (terrain mapping) radar,” “Systems more complex than the Tomcat,” and also the clues you guys previously mentioned. One of the two is American. Razbam is doing a Harrier, so I don’t think LNS would do one. I’m thinking it might just be the F-111? -Woog

Who was working on the A-7? Marines never flew that one.

Razbam is doing the A-6, A-7, AV-8B, and T-2C. They might eventually do an F-15E, but I wouldn’t hold my breath on that one. A lot of systems to model there. The T-2C has been at a high level of completion for a while now, but has been put on hold while Eagle finishes their Multi-Crew and Carrier Ops code. The A-7 is looking to be the next module released from Razbam after the M2000C. You can expect to see the land based A-7D to appear in game first, followed by the Navy’s A-7E version for the previously mentioned reasons. -Woog
