Is it weird that I am more excited about the Hercules than the MiG? I have pre-ordered both (I know, I know don’t pre-order blah blah) but I am much more excited to manage that big 4-engine turboprop with a couple of buddies in the same cockpit instead of this Soviet hot rod.

I know exactly what you mean … it may be because if you have FC3 you already have the 29, but the herc is something completely new and different😀

I’m coming around to buying the MiG, but yes, I’m definitely more interested in the C130. I just wish it was a C130H, but I’m sure the younger players will have a greater connection with the J model (which isn’t exactly new itself).
I’m looking forward to flying it in VR with my Force Feedback yoke and Honeycomb Bravo throttle. MSFS will probably take a back seat for awhile.

The NS430 for the Fulcrum is now for sale. 6 bucks. Paid for mine mostly with miles.

Resistance was futile. It only took a couple of hours from launch for me to deploy my credit card… I was going to buy it yesterday but with this infernal cold I forget everything… Today it was $63.99 and I used my miles and just got it under 60 stacks. Cant wait to get home!

first takeoff, flight and landing, so far very nice but incredibly short legs (especially if you forget the afterburner 
)
managed a landing with no popped tyres and remembered the binding I set for the brake chute, needs some deep diving, one helpful hint the volume control for the RWR is by your right knee, if you do the instant take off mission on the blacksea, your dickhead of a wingman flies behind you with his radar illuminating you the whole time, and the RWR is loud
