I should warn everyone that the mission takes a long time to load, but well worth the wait. The fog seems excessive at first, but burns off with time. If we fly again next weekend, I’ll reduce it. There are two spots to drop off CSAR rescues. See the map item Jungle FARP** and S.Jungle FARP** below. Look for the tents with red crosses on the roof. They are a little hard to find at first, but keep looking. The nurse will say something like, “We’ll take it from here Sir.”, when you have a successful RTB with a pilot. The bad guys can be good shots, so helis stay low and a/c high.

Those folders go in /Saved games/DCS/Mods/ right?

I recommend you don’t include the tacview folder that’s included with the download, especially if you already have a working Tacview installation

Don’t beat yourself up if it doesn’t work out today. I’ll fly a few sorties and if you manage to show up we’ll team up in a brand new Phantom.

I was able to jump on for a little bit and saw Derby and UncleZam. Lee is still getting his mods in order, but the server seems to be running well. I’ve got to go for a few hours, but will check back later. Have fun guys. Remember, that if you need to kick it, there is a Restart Server item on the F10 menu > Other.
EDIT: you can spawn more CSAR and red air in that menu as well.

What a nice mission also, love the low level Loach flying with doorgunner spotting targets while you trying to dodge AA fire. Need to try the other aircraft also next time.

Great time flying with you later on. I don’t think that you could hear me on coms though. You must have taken them all out after I took a 23mm to the chin, because when I returned, there was nothing left but scorched earth

I think the problem was at my end Dan. I could hear you but for some reason my mic wasn’t working. Oh well, despite having no coms, we did plenty of damage… and wrecked a few Loaches too!
