How many of you have tried improvised road operations in the Phantom?
Truth be told, it’s actually easy. Ridiculously easy. I honestly think a new player could be taught simple short-field operations and a ‘slam dunk’ approach method, and they’d be perfectly capable.

Basically, you’re a freelance helo pilot, at first you can get basic transport jobs and then as you gain money and reputation you have the ability to do VIP transport, SAR, police, etc.
Still in its infancy but we already have a stat system that tracks how many flight hours you have, how many successful missions, how much money you have.
Yup, the Huey, the Gazelle and the Hip will definitely be part of it. Hopefully we can also make the Chinook, the Yak-52, the CE2 and Combined Arms fit into all this.
As a side note, if you were put off by the flight model of the initial release, I would invite you to try v1.4. It’s a completely different beast. Tobi has also been fine tuning the suspension code and the landing are a lot more cushy now, quite satisfying.
I’m not sure of the OH-6/360/500 variants but a V tailed 500C was used in Magnum P.I. in some episodes. It’s not that visually different from the OH-6.
