That’s not your fault, apparently the plane has too weak engine and the airplane light weight is not factored properly by the sim (to pass the shuttle). You really need a lot of thrust because of that. I got that from dev stream.

I just unzipped the VNAO_T45 zip into my C:\Users\(me)\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Mods\Aircraft folder and it was all good. You might need to create those folders if you haven’t done that before (the Mods\Aircraft ones to put the VNAO_T45 one in).

It feels very friendly. No drama so far. The wingman does some crazy things, but for carriers and patterns and the like it’s sort of relaxing.

Is the cat stroke on a real T-45C that slow…I count about a 4 second run down the track - is that to keep from tearing the nosewheel off?

Sorry for the spamming (the forum often yells at me about it…haha…) - if anyone finds a MP server that has the T-45C, I might be able to hop on later (like late late tonight), so post one if you find one. Would be fun to do some stuff. I’d love to give those practice bombs and rockets a try (I think they are smoke markers). Be nice if the server had a target/training range on it…

Can’t remember you being this stoked for a DCS mod before, I will have to get it. Make a nice mudspike fly in when we get the briefing room for the carrier. The mudspike greenie board, qualify and you get to fly the hornet

Ha…well…I really enjoy the simple modules a lot because they aren’t taxing on my small, barely primate level brain. Probably why I enjoy the C-101/CC so much… Although I’m growing to really enjoy the Hornet because it has all the fun of flying and has some cool stuff it can do too…unfortunately I just can’t remember all the stuff…haha…
