it kind of worked…? Didn’t it.
Not quite, it supposed to be a HALO drop, but the pilot misread that as Highly Awesome Looking Operation or maybe How About Lob them Over (he didn’t payed attention during briefing, as he admired his reflection in his pocket mirror) and since the paratroopers had limited downward vision during the drop (the mounting points were a bit hasty chosen) they didn’t anticipated the drop from such low altitude.
