Oooh yeah.
You guys. I just discovered today that Magic DOSbox has a virtual joystick with buttons:
I see a lot more Gunship 2000 in my future.
That’s pretty cool, GS2000 on the go. Though playing it on the touch screen might seem pretty cumbersome…
In other news, Japan-only release of USNF’97 titled USNF Final Mission has been archived for preservation on internet archive. It was a really rare title, as it was available only in Japanese market. It’s built on USNF’97 - so it includes Ukraine, Kuril Islands and Vietnam campaigns and adds additional one based around Tokyo bay area. this additional content wasn’t available in later released Jane’s Fighters Anthology which combined all the content from previous games (USNF, Marine Fighters, ATF, NATO Fighters, USNF’97). The only drawback of this release is that it’s only available in Japanese, but with todays tools the briefings can be easily deciphered by google translate camera tool.
Wait wait wait DOSBox on Android… ![]()
How does it work? OMFG, this is brilliant!
Magic DOSBox my friend:
It’s a marvel.

Another classic from early 90s - Aces Over Europe from Dynamix. A sequel to Aces of the Pacific and Red Baron. It was the least favorite for me from The Great War Planes series but still was fun. One of the two games I know which let you fly Arado Blitz (first fielded jet bomber) - the other one being Il-2 1946.
I got Aces of the Pacific as part of the Aces:Collection that came out in the late 1990’s. I remember mainly playing Aces of the Deep and Red Baron since the other titles always had problems running correctly. Crashes to desktop were not uncommon. I never got the A-10 titles to run at all.
Still have it in storage somewhere.
Wheels
Very nice!!
Digital Integration’s F-16 Fighting Falcon is now on Steam
I did a quick look - it needs some DOSBox config tweaks but nothing major
And here’s my Steam guide on how to apply the fixes:
It’s on Steam!?
Cool!
Yeah under 200 knots or something the flight model goes into bespoken model.
EDIT after watching : Oh yeah you take a bit of a short route around the airfield. Start from farther away.
The EF 2000 celebrated 30 years recently (29.11.2025). For that special time, I took a photo of my DID collection. Happy birthday!
Hey! That’s pretty awesome indeed! ![]()
Thank you!
Amazing!
Awesome collection. I miss the big box days. I have a few of my boxes in storage and occasionally take them out for nostalgia.
Wow! That is stunning
Thank you all!
