Nope- I’ve been switching between Open, Mobius, and Fleetcom. Haven’t gone fully solo though.

Ok, there’s going to be a bit of delay on moving the carrier. I was unexpectedly busy today - I’ve just got home (it’s half past midnight) - and I’m too tired to stay awake. I’ll try and get the move done tomorrow during the day, or at the latest tomorrow night. Sorry guys.

EDIT: OK we’ve arrived at our destination this week - only about 1000LYs from the Heart and Soul Nebulae and at the near edge of the Rift. There are 4 settlements nearby that formed part of the Dynasty Project - the nearest is only 8LYs away and the furthest 81LYs away. Have fun looking for them (or you could just look them up on Canonns website like I did).

I didn’t get much chance to explore the Heart and Soul Nebulae last week, but I did find a couple of water worlds and some bark mounds. Here’s a few snapshots:

Also, the only mineable stuff I’ve found so far. No overlapping hot spots yet.

Off to find the other Formidine Rift sites, and see if there’s anything else worth bringing out the mining rig.

So asking for a friend… I don’t need an abrasion blaster for core mining…right…?

After cracking an asteroid, you do find a number of surface deposits inside.So yes, an abrasion blaster is a must for core, IMO.

Crap, I was afraid of that. It seems the nearest fleet carrier with outfitting is 800+ ly away.

Next question, is there a list ANYWHERE of what minerals can be surfaced mined vs. core mined? I’m not coming up with anything, and so far the “hot spots” I’ve dropped into, haven’t been, at least not for LTD’s and Grandidierite.
